Job summary

CIBC in Grimsby is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to deepen relationships with personal and small business clients. You will understand needs and offer personalised financial strategies, managing mortgage portfolios and coordinating with specialists as needed.

You will support clients with a broad range of retail banking products, while traveling to nearby banking centres within a reasonable distance. On‑site full‑time work is expected.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients
• Certification/licensing requirements include Mutual Funds License and CFSA or eligibility for CIRO‑MFD licensing
• Accreditation and good standing in CFSA is an asset

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and provide a forward‑looking financial plan
• Broaden client relationships by offering comprehensive retail banking solutions or introductions to specialists
• Engage in community and banking centre events to build market presence and drive growth
