Job summary

CIBC in Toronto, ON is seeking an Associate Financial Services Specialist to deepen client relationships in a busy banking centre. You’ll understand personal and small business needs and recommend simple, tailored solutions to help clients reach their financial goals.

You’ll work on-site full-time, with occasional evenings and weekends, and may travel to nearby centres to serve clients effectively. A client‑focused, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of financial advice experience with sales results.
• Commit to CIRO-MFD registration within 90 days.
• Quebec certification and AMF licensing required.
• Completion of CIFC or CSC to support AMF licensing; RRC beneficial.
• CSI/ICB courses (Quebec) are assets.

Responsibilities

• Client engagement - Meet with clients to understand their personal and business priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward‑looking financial plan.
• Relationship building - Engage in marketing and outreach activities to show clients you value them and their communities.
• Business development - Create relationships by networking with clients’ families and friends to uncover opportunities.
• Leveraging technology - Introduce clients to our mobile banking applications and help them manage their banking needs.
