Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to work in a fast-paced Banking Centre in Quebec. You will understand clients’ personal and small business needs, offer personalized financial solutions, and manage mortgage client portfolios to deepen relationships.

You will be on-site full-time with flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and potential travel to multiple banking centres within a reasonable distance. Accreditation and licensing are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Certified professional with Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).
• CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice) is an asset.
• Must meet CIRO-MFD licensing eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities, advise on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships.
• Be flexible with banking centre hours (evenings and weekends) and travel between centres within a reasonable distance.
