Job summary

CIBC in Ottawa is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to help personal and small business clients achieve their financial goals. You’ll build deep client relationships, assess needs, and offer simple, personalized solutions, including wealth planning and mortgage guidance, within a team-focused banking centre.

You’ll travel between local banking centres as needed, work full-time on-site, and use digital tools to enhance client experiences.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and meeting sales targets.
• Current Mutual Funds Licence or eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• CFSA certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand personal and small business priorities and provide forward-looking financial plans.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, deepen relationships, and connect clients to suitable banking solutions.
• Engage in marketing and outreach to grow the client base and referral opportunities.
