Job summary

CIBC in Winnipeg is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to build deep relationships with personal and small business clients. You will assess needs, propose straightforward financial solutions, and manage a portfolio of mortgage clients to strengthen client ties.

You will engage in outreach, grow your network, and collaborate with colleagues to connect clients to the right partners. Relevant licenses are required, and a client-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada)
• Asset if you have CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice) and CIRO-MFD licensing eligibility

Responsibilities

• Client engagement: meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and advise on solutions.
• Relationship building: grow network and deepen client relationships within the team.
• Business development: identify opportunities through outreach and referrals to drive growth.
