Job summary

CIBC is seeking a Financial Advisor to join the Imperial Service Team in Bracebridge. You will build a client portfolio through personalized financial guidance, covering banking, investments, lending and estate planning.

You’ll travel to multiple banking centres within a reasonable distance and work on-site full-time. The role emphasizes relationship building, local market development and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets.
• Certified professional with CIRO-MFD licensing; current accreditation and good standing in CSC/CIFC/IFC for licensing.
• AMI licenses and ongoing professional development such as AMF licensing or CIFC/CSC completion support; CSI/ICB courses are assets.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored financial advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending and estate planning.
• Develop local market sales plans, convert leads into clients, and generate referrals.
• Engage with the community and participate in local events to raise CIBC brand awareness.
