Job summary

Vision33 in Halifax seeks an IT Technical Consultant to deliver hands-on IT system and network support across client sites in HRM and the Dartmouth office. The role emphasizes Microsoft technologies, on‑prem and Azure environments, and client‑facing service.

You will gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, document tickets, and collaborate with the Managed IT Services team to provide effective solutions. Some travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience supporting IT infrastructure across hardware, software, networks, and end-user environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies including 365, Windows Server, and Azure.
• Experience supporting both on‑prem and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of SMB IT networks, domain administration, security, and end-user devices.
• Experience using remote monitoring and alerting systems.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and timely execution of solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT system, network, and infrastructure support for a diverse client base in the Maritimes.
• Support hardware and software across on‑premises and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and document requirements for internal systems, networks, and apps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while delivering excellent customer service.
• Respond to service requests within designated timelines and maintain records in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve client issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Support internal and external sales efforts as required.
