Job summary

ESW-IT, an established IT consulting firm, is seeking an IT Technician to support SMB and enterprise clients with proactive technical assistance and on-site/remote support in the Victoria area. You will liaise with client teams, plan and deploy desktops, servers, and network services with emphasis on cloud services like Azure and O365, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and the ability to work under pressure; full-time,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in an IT Consulting or senior technical support role.
• Post secondary education in a computer-related discipline.
• Microsoft Certifications, and related industry certifications such as AWS are an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, MS Azure.

Responsibilities

• Delivery solutions to SMBs with strong focus on client care, timelines and KPI deliverables.
• Liaise with businesses, leaders, users, and coworkers to provide technical support on complex issues.
• Support account/project management in proposing and developing the right solution for the client.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, problem solve and provide root cause analysis and documentation.
• Plan/setup/configure/deploy/troubleshoot desktops, servers, and networks with focus on cloud services (Azure, O365).
• Build and maintain knowledge of ESW IT services and offerings.
