Central Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist, Client Care to support our pet-parents and veterinary team in Saskatoon. This full-time front-desk role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, managing appointments, and coordinating with the veterinary staff across a busy hospital environment.

The ideal candidate will handle phone and email inquiries, assist with tasks as needed, and help admit and discharge patients while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Experience in veterinary reception and appointment bookings is preferred
• Ability to manage emails and phone inquiries professionally

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for patients and pet parents
• Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments when required
• Answer a multiline phone system and track/book appointments
• Place outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future bookings
• Respond to and manage email correspondence from clients and referring veterinarians
• Admit and discharge pet patients
• Handle invoicing and billing; create estimates and process payments
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars
• Maintain cleanliness of the reception area and waiting spaces
• Be willing to learn more about veterinary services and office procedures
