Job summary

Pitcher & Doyle is seeking an experienced Client Care Representative to support our underwriting team. This role focuses on exceptional client service, accurate policy administration, and proactive communication within a regulated environment.

The position offers comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of customer service or administrative experience, an insurance licence or ability to obtain, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in customer service or administrative roles (call centre experience is a plus).
• General Insurance Level 1 licence or ability to obtain.
• Exposure to claims processes or premium finance is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Conflict-resolution skills with a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for client and broker inquiries with timely, empathetic service.
• Support policy administration: documentation review, data validation, endorsements, cancellations, processing.
• Coordinate premium finance agreements and client communications.
• Provide administrative support related to claims, including intake coordination and status updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and issue resolution.
• Assist with general administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Pitcher & Doyle is seeking an experienced Client Care Representative to support our underwriting team, reporting to the Director, Underwriting. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong administrative and conflict-resolution skills who is looking to grow within the insurance industry. Comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for client and broker inquiries, delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic service
• Support policy administration, including documentation review, data validation, endorsements, cancellations, and general processing
• Coordinate premium finance agreements, client communications, and follow-ups
• Provide administrative and customer support related to claims, including intake coordination and status updates
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient service delivery and issue resolution
• Assist with general administrative tasks and contribute to process improvements
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
