Qualifications

  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor quote and renewal inboxes, review submissions for completeness, and follow up for missing information.
  • Review previous quote activity, maintain tracking logs, and assign work to the appropriate Underwriter.
  • Prepare, review and distribute proposal package.
  • Generate and process Drug Utilization Reports and other renewal-related reports using provider systems, Excel macros and departmental templates.
  • Organize, assemble, scan, file, and distribute quote and renewal documentation.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical group files.
  • Respond to routine information requests and coordinate information with Marketing Cenrres and other internal departments.
  • Provide coverage for other Underwriting Assistants during absences or periods of increased workload.
  • Assist with departmental projects, system testing, process improvements, and other administrative duties as assigned.

About The Role

The Group Underwriting Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Group Underwriting department.
