Job summary

Dexterra Group in Saskatchewan seeks a Cleaning Supervisor to manage on-site operations at a large facility. You will oversee daily tasks, schedule staff, ensure safety compliance, and maintain quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' cleaning and supervisory experience in a large facility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assists with controlling budgeted hours for the location.
• Assigns daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
• Inspects ongoing performance to ensure expected levels.
• Trains and implements Health & Safety procedures; ensures PPE availability and use.
• Maintains timekeeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Responds to customer requests and ensures follow-up.
• Oversees inventory control and daily Preventative Maintenance Program.

Your Work Will Include

• Assists with controlling budgeted hours for the assigned location.
• Assigns daily tasks and responsibilities to employees.
• Inspects the work on an ongoing basis to ensure performance is at the expected levels.
• Assists with site training of new cleaning personnel
• Trains and implements Health & Safety procedures and ensures that safety devices and PPE are available and properly utilized.
• Maintains time keeping records for cleaning personnel.
• Respond to customer requests and ensure follow up.
• Responsible for inventory control and the daily Preventative Maintenance Program.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' cleaning and supervisory experience in a large facility.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in a unionized environment, ability to work with Collective Agreement and provide guidelines and execution.
• Flexible start and end times as needed, weekend and statutory holiday work are required.
• A clear criminal background check is required for this role.
• Previous experience in a cleaning environment;
• Customer and client focused;
• The ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures;
• Health and Safety experience including understanding the Supervisors responsibilities under OHSA;
• Basic office skills including but not limited to email, word, excel
• Ability to use IOS Technology base platforms.
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Smart appearance and professional manner;
• Resilience, with the ability to work under pressure; Pearson is a 24/7 business environment.
• Supervisors will be required to work the hours that will encompass the core shift hours for client visits. Weekend and statutory holiday work are required.
