Job summary

Dexterra Group is seeking a Cleaner to join our Peterborough operations. Reporting to the Account Manager, you will maintain sanitary environments and support day-to-day cleaning tasks in common areas and washrooms.

Your duties include collecting garbage, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, window cleaning, operating cleaning equipment, and assisting with snow removal as needed. One year of cleaning experience, good communication with staff and clients, and ability to lift 25 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience in cleaning.
• Able to communicate with supervisor, client and general public.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Hazardous Materials.
• Civil servant application is required.

As aCleaner,reportingto the Account Manager, you will ensure a sanitary environment, securing and maintaining tools/equipment used to perform the day to day work and performing other duties as assigned or requested.This position is for the City of Peterborough.
