Job summary

Fort McMurray Catholic Schools is accepting applications for a Cleaner at various FMCSD locations. This part-time role focuses on daily cleaning and upkeep of school interiors and exteriors, with evening shifts and a 30-hour workweek.

The successful candidate will perform routine cleaning tasks, assist with minor maintenance, and complete security checks in line with established standards. A Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check are required.

• General cleaning of assigned building
• Clean cafeteria, lunch room, storage areas, utility service areas, furnace rooms and boiler rooms
• Clean lighting fixtures and replace light bulbs

• Perform minor maintenance not requiring a skilled tradesperson
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Overview:

Reporting to the Coordinator of Custodial Services, the Cleaner performs cleaning and general maintenance of school interior/exterior, in accordance with established standards; performs daily routine security and safety checks; and performs other duties as assigned – details as per job description.
