Job summary

BEST Service Pros in Vancouver, BC seeks a dependable cleaner to maintain offices, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas. You will mop, sweep, wipe surfaces, and ensure spaces are inviting.

Casual, on-call shifts cover multiple time periods, with shifts typically 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7pm. Pay starts at $21.31 per hour, with opportunities for training and advancement within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Able to pass Canadian Background Check.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and follow labels and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, washrooms, kitchens, dining areas, halls, entrances/exits, reception areas and more.
• Ensure sanitization and disinfection procedures are followed.
• Replenish supplies as needed and manage storage of cleaning materials.
• Report equipment issues and stock shortages; perform minor repairs as needed.

WAGE: $21.31
JOB OVERVIEW: You will be responsible for making sure your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down glass and other surfaces.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Clean offices, auditoriums,washrooms, kitchen, dining areas, halls, entrances/exits, reception areas and more;
• Ensure proper sanitization& disinfection procedures are followed;
• Replenish supplies as needed;
• Ensure garbage disposal in proper bins;
• Clean all dry & wet spills throughout facility as required;
• Maintain & secure storage areas, cleaning equipment & materials in an orderly manner;
• Report equipment repairs and stock shortages;
• Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs;
• Report damage & acts of vandalism;
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
• Ability to operate floor cleaning machines
• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Ability to read & understand labels & instructions
• Previous custodial experience an asset
• Acceptable security and criminal record check.

Requirements:

• Ability to pass Canadian Background Check
