Job summary

BEST Service Pros is seeking casual, on-call cleaners to join our team in British Columbia. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, presentable, and inviting spaces across client facilities, including common areas, washrooms, kitchens, and entryways.

Shifts run Monday through Friday, with hours at night or early morning. The wage is $21.48 per hour, with benefits after probation, health and dental coverage, and opportunities for career development within our growing company.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (auto scrubbers, burnishers, carpet cleaners, Tucker pole).
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
• Ability to read and follow labels and instructions.
• Custodial experience is an asset.
• Ability to pass a Canadian Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Follow sanitation and disinfection procedures.
• Replenish supplies as needed.
• Dispose of garbage properly.
• Clean spills and maintain surfaces.
• Secure storage areas and equipment.
• Report repairs and stock shortages.
• Perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

10:00pm - 6:00am or 8:00am - 4:00pm

$21.48/ Hourly

JOB OVERVIEW:

You will be responsible for ensuring your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting. Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, and washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down the glass and other surfaces

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean offices, auditoriums, classrooms, washrooms, kitchen, dining areas, halls, entrances/exits, reception areas and more
• Ensure proper sanitation & disinfection procedures are followed
• Replenish supplies as needed
• Ensure garbage disposal in proper bins
• Clean all dry & wet spills throughout the facility as required
• Maintain & secure storage areas, cleaning equipment & materials in an orderly manner
• Report equipment repairs and stock shortages
• Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Ability to use auto scrubbers, burnishers, carpet cleaning equipment, & tucker pole
• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment
• Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
• Ability to read & understand labels & instructions
• Previous custodial experience as an asset
• Acceptable security and criminal record check.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to pass a Canadian Background Check
