Job summary

Forthright Properties is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our Property Operations team in Winnipeg, MB. You will maintain high cleanliness standards in residential suites and common areas, including turnovers and routine cleaning, to support welcoming communities for residents and staff. Position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with overtime opportunities. Candidates should have a Manitoba class 5 license and a clear criminal record.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Clear Criminal Record Check.
• Previous residential, commercial, or janitorial cleaning experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vacant suites for new residents, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, windows, and flooring.
• Assist with turnover cleaning and month-end unit preparation.
• Clean and sanitize common areas, including hallways, stairwells, lobbies, entrances, mechanical rooms, and electrical rooms.
• Empty garbage and recycling containers and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Assist with exterior litter and garbage collection around properties.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report inventory needs to the supervisor.
• Follow established health and safety procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns, property damage, or unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Team.
• Assist with cleaning related to special projects, emergencies, or unexpected situations.
• Maintain security and confidentiality when accessing tenant suites.
• Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with residents, contractors, and team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About the Role

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in residential suites and common areas throughout our properties.
