Job summary

Boardwalk is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain sanitary, safe, and welcoming common areas across our communities in Ontario. The role emphasizes attention to detail, independent work, and teamwork to support residents and site operations.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years cleaning experience, a valid driver’s license may be beneficial, and the ability to perform physical tasks. We offer competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas.
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups.
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up.
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required.
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management.
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly.
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required.

Experience And Educational Requirements

• 2 years cleaning experience required

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Own reliable vehicle
