Job summary

Boardwalk in Calgary is seeking an experienced Cleaner to maintain our Broadway Centre community by keeping common areas clean and sanitized. The role emphasizes attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and teamwork to support multiple sites.

The position requires 2 years of cleaning experience, English proficiency, and a willingness to operate in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are preferred to support site coverage.

Qualifications

• 2 years cleaning experience required
• Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle (as applicable)
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Responsibilities

• Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and other common areas
• Clean vacant suites and complete suite touch-ups
• Interior and exterior garbage pick-up
• Assist with snow removal and touch-up painting as required
• Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
• Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly
• Complete other tasks and assist other sites as required

Responsibilities

Experience And Educational Requirements

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of English both verbal and written
• Familiarity with technology is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements

• Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
• Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
• Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Excellent time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and enthusiasm

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
