Job summary

Emterra Group is seeking a driver to operate an organics and recycling collection vehicle and ensure safe, timely service across assigned routes. The role emphasizes customer service and strict adherence to safety policies.

You'll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle standards, and support a growing, safety-driven organization recognized as a Greenest Employer in Canada.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a 5 ton truck.
• Professional driving experience with required licence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to pass background checks including medical/drug test, criminal history, license verification and employment confirmation.
• Punctual, reliable, team player.

Responsibilities

• Drive and load organics and recycling collection vehicle (cube van with power liftgate).
• Observe safe work practices.
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete DVIRs.

Position Description:
