Job summary

Emterra Group in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Class 3 driver to safely operate a vehicle with air brakes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and deliver recyclables to the processing facility.

You will communicate with the Route Supervisor and customers, promote a positive image, and join an award-winning employer offering competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and an EAP.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 3 license with Air Endorsement.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to establish professional relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Punctual, reliable team player.

Responsibilities

• Safe operations of a Class 3 vehicle with air brakes.
• Safe collection of residential recycle blue boxes.
• Daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Observe safe work practices.
• Delivery of recycling to the recycle processing facility.
• Effective communication with the Route Supervisor and customers.
• Providing a professional collection service and promoting a positive company image.
