Cooper Equipment Rentals in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking a Class 3 Driver to operate and deliver a diverse fleet of construction equipment to customer sites. You will load and unload, inspect, and secure loads while maintaining accurate delivery records and safety logs.

Responsibilities include ensuring customer sign-off, communicating with dispatch about schedules, and providing basic instruction on safe operation. Overtime is available in a safety-first, outdoors-friendly work environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 license with a clean/satisfactory abstract (≤3 demerit points).
• Experience delivering and transporting heavy equipment on flat-bed trucks.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with customers and dispatch.

Responsibilities

Equipment fleet includes (but is not limited to) aerial, earth moving and compaction equipment.* Load and unload equipment; secure loaded equipment per company safe work procedures and inspect in transit if necessary.* Complete thorough and accurate daily pre-inspections and post-inspections, regulatory logs and timesheets. Check gas, oil and other fluid levels.* Secure customer signature on contract, if not already signed.* Inform supervisor of difficulties with deliveries or pickups.* Inform management of new sales opportunities and job sites.* Double check delivered items to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered.* Communicate with dispatch if behind schedule, so customers may be notified.* Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.* If equipment is missing or broken upon pick up fill out the appropriate forms and get customer’s signature. Turn in these forms to Branch Manager, along with pick up sheets.* Tag and move broken equipment to repair area.* Provide basic instruction to customers on the safe operation of equipment if necessary.* Keep the truck in clean and professional condition at all times.**What You’ll Bring to the Team** *Qualifications and Requirements:* * Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than three demerit points).You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.* Experience with operation, load securement and transportation of heavy-duty construction equipment on flat-bed trucks is required.* Comfortable with working outdoors year-round and driving in varying weather / road conditions.* Comfortable with manual transmission* Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
