Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Montreal is seeking a Class 1 driver to join our team. You will transport metals to clients and AIM sites, conduct pre-trip inspections, and assist with loading and unloading while ensuring safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 FM driver’s license and have a good driving record.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• Mindful of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Transport metals to clients and AIM sites.

• Assist with loading and unloading the trailer.
• Uphold safety standards at all times.
• Operate different types of heavy vehicles as needed.

Job Description

Our team is currently looking for a Class 1 driver. We are looking for a candidate who adapts easily to change and is ready to take on new challenges.

What you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out the transportation of metals to our various clients as well as on AIM sites
• Carrying out pre-trip inspections before taking the road
• Participating in loading and unloading the trailer
• Ensuring that safety standards established by law and by the employer are respected at all times without exception
• Using different types of heavy vehicles as needed
• Providing excellent customer service

Qualifications
