Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) in Saint-Augustin, Quebec, is seeking a Class 3 truck driver to mechanically collect metals and transport them to the AIM site. You will perform daily truck inspections, follow the supervisor’s schedule, and handle pickups and deliveries of dry materials and metals.

This role requires a valid Class 3 license, at least 2 years of experience, a safety‑minded attitude, physical fitness, reliable punctuality, and good customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 license with good driving record.
• At least 2 years of driving experience.

• Respect for equipment and punctuality.
• Experience operating a Roll-Off truck is a major asset.

Responsibilities

Job Description

AIM is currently looking for a Class 3 truck driver for its Saint‑Augustin, Quebec site. The main task of the driver is to mechanically collect metals and transport them to the AIM site.

What you will be responsible for:

• Performing the daily inspection of the truck
• Following the schedule and route provided by the supervisor
• Carrying out the pickup and delivery of dry materials, ferrous and non‑ferrous metals according to applicable safety standards
• Completing the required documentation for the transport to be performed
• Performing basic maintenance on the truck
• Ensuring customer satisfaction
• Driving the vehicle safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• You hold a valid Class 3 FM driver’s license as well as a good driving record
• You have at least 2 years of experience

• You are in excellent physical condition
• You have good customer service skills
