Job Duties

• Operate vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to company safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
• Manage cargo documentation and provide necessary paperwork upon delivery of goods.
• Coordinate the loading and unloading of the truck, verify cargo, and ensure items are properly stored and secured.
• Maintain contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport.
• Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

Skills and Requirements

• Valid Class 1/AZ license.
• Provide 5 years of commercial driving abstract.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Willingness to load/unload and be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work flexible schedules.
• Bondable and legally entitled to work in Canada.
