Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
  • Excellent driving record with a clean 5-year commercial driving abstract.
  • Recent commercial driving experience within 3 months to 1 year.
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions.

We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented drivers to join our growing transportation team. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in their work, consistently deliver high-quality service, and can operate safely and professionally in a fast-paced environment while representing the company.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across city/local routes
  • Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within Winnipeg in a safe, timely, and professional manner
  • Operate tractor-trailer, dry van, reefer, straight truck equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Secure freight using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and load bars, ensuring compliance with load-securement standards
  • Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, including e‑logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports
  • Maintain compliance with hours‑of‑service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures
  • Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required
Core Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license
  • Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Clean 5‑year commercial driving abstract (no more than 3 demerits and 3 negative events)
  • Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (within the past 3 months to 1 year)
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions
  • Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety‑focused approach
Role‑Specific Requirements (Class 1 Drivers)
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely perform hand‑bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as required
