Gordon Food Service in Delta, BC is seeking a Class 1 Local Delivery Driver to cover Delta deliveries with a 4 x 10 schedule and 5:00pm start.

You will operate out of Delta, enjoy guaranteed home daily routes, and participate in a pay-for-performance program after 3 months along with benefits after 30 days. This role demands a Class 1 license, safe driving, and strong customer service.

Formación

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Proven ability to lift, push and pull up to 80 lbs.
• Eligibility for bonding and TDG certification.

Position Overview

Division: British Columbia Position: Class 1 Local Delivery Driver (Delta) Schedule: 4 X 10 | Floater | 5:00pm - 7:00pm start time

The Class 1 Local Delivery Driver will be responsible for covering delivery shifts out of Delta.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
• Proven ability of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 80 lbs
• Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• A high level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self-directed
• Professional demeanor under stressful situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Availability for weekends and holidays
