Job summary

Gallagher Bassett Canada is seeking a Claims Supervisor to lead a team of adjusters and support staff in delivering high-quality claims service. The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and compliance across provinces, with a focus on Commercial Auto and CGL.

The candidate should bring extensive claims knowledge and strong communication to coordinate with clients, carriers, and brokers. The position requires a high school diploma and 5 years of claims experience, with CIP licensing progress

Qualifications

• 5 years related claims experience
• CIP completion or in progress with minimum courses for licensing C110, C11. C12 C14
• Licensed and/or certified in all provinces in which claims are being handled or able to obtain licenses per local requirements
• Extensive knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
• Computer experience with related claims and business software

In the Claims Supervisor role, you will lead a team of adjusters and administrative and technical support staff.

Experience in Commerical Auto and CGL

Familiarity with litigation, mediation and other legal processes.

Drive adjuster hiring and development which results in a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

Lead a claims team that delivers high quality and efficient service

Guide, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports through the development of team goals and workload balancing protocols, while encouraging and delivering strong performance Continuously finding ways to improve teams' efficiency and quality utilizing Gallagher's technology

Communicate with clients, carriers, and brokers in a professional and proactive manner

Effectively lead multiple priorities, recognize coaching opportunities, and position team members for success

About you

High school diploma and 5 years related claims experience required.
CIP completion or in progress with minimum courses for licensing C110, C11. C12 C14
Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all provinces in which claims are being handled or able to obtain the licenses/certification per local requirements.
Extensive knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree preferred.
