Job summary

Northbridge Financial is seeking a Property Claims Director to lead the Claims unit with strong leadership, coaching, and customer-focused direction. The role drives regional plans and ensures service quality across claim operations while supporting best practices and training.

The ideal candidate has extensive P&C claims leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high standards. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program.
• Completed or working towards the CIP designation.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the property and casualty Insurance industry handling complex claims.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong technical skills with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to clearly communicate with Claimants, Brokers, and vendors.

As a Property Claims Director you will be part of a dynamic team that prides itself on having a sharp eye on detail while keeping the customer experience top of mind. At Northbridge, our Claims department is responsible for ensuring efficient, prompt, and courteous service to claimants, insureds, and brokers through appropriate investigation, analysis, and settlement of claims. Our Claims Director, Property and Administration, will direct all activities of the claim’s unit through effective leadership and training of the adjusting staff to ensure service and quality objectives are met.

The Property Claims Director is also responsible for supporting the development and implementation of best practices and departmental strategies in the achievement of regional goals for customer service, productivity, and quality.

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000, which reflects the expected base pay – not the total compensation package. The actual base salary may vary depending on your experience, skills, and alignment with the position.
