Job summary

Walmart Canada is hiring a Claims Associate to support inventory accuracy and store profitability by handling damaged and returned merchandise in line with company guidelines. This role works closely with vendor partners, associates, and customers to secure credits, maintain inventory, and smooth store operations in Northwestern Ontario.

• Scan damaged and stolen items quickly and correctly to help prevent loss.
• Prepare returns, vendor requests, recalls, and donation items by completing required paperwork, packing, and shipping on time.
• Keep the claims area neat, clean, and safe by following proper lifting, ladder use, and chemical disposal procedures.
• Follow Company rules for handling damaged and recalled items, keep claims up to date, and complete required forms for older claims to reduce chargebacks.
• Complete Customer Value Program (CVP) tasks as assigned and follow current systems and processes.
• Provide support to the Office Support Associate and Direct Store Delivery Associate when needed.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift inventory weighing up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Perform repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail.
