Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Claims Associate to join the Alberta Condo team. You will manage claim data, liaise with underwriting, and support clients and property managers through the claims process.

With 1–2 years of property claims experience and a Level 1 license to obtain within 3 months, you will contribute to accurate reporting, proactive service, and strong relationships in a collaborative, people-first culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of property claims experience is preferred.
• General Level 1 license required within 3 months.
• Knowledge of condo claims processes and Alberta Condo Act is beneficial.
• Experience with EPIC is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain claim data in internal systems with accuracy.
• Communicate with IA for claim updates and underwriting queries.
• Manage claim intake, reporting, and documentation; address missing information.
• Oversee "notice only" claims with standard responses and follow-ups to prevent E&O issues.
• Handle below-deductible inquiries with policy-compliant responses.
• Build relationships with property managers and provide claims education sessions.
• Conduct regular customer service check-ins during claims processes.

Overview

Gallagher is seeking a Claims Associate with 1-2 years of property claims experience and a Level 1 License to join our Alberta Condo team. This role focuses on managing claims processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing exceptional support to clients and property managers.

About You

• 1-2 years of property claims experience is preferred; property claims experience/exposure ideal but not mandatory
• General Level 1 license will be required within 3 months
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of claims processes, underwriting, and the Condo Act of Alberta
• Experience with EPIC is an asset
