Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Client Solutions Manager to work with Commercial Oil & Gas sector clients from our Calgary office. You will manage an existing Energy portfolio, drive renewals, and coordinate with insurers and marketing teams to meet client needs.

The role offers hybrid work options and requires strong relationship-building, communication, and technical proficiency with insurance products.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial Insurance Brokering or related field.
• Knowledge of EPIC is an asset.
• Certification/designations like CAIB/CIP/CRM are valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Energy accounts, leading retention and relationship development.
• Review renewal terms, place coverage, re-market when needed, and coordinate with carriers.
• Respond to client inquiries quickly with efficient turnaround times.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities with Account Executives to secure client needs.
• Stay informed on new products and policy changes to upgrade market knowledge.

Overview

As Client Solutions Manager, you will be working directly with our Commercial Oil & Gas sector clients in delivering the world-class customer service Gallagher is so well known for. This means you will be managing an existing portfolio of Energy clients – driving the renewal cycle, handling day-to-day policy changes, interfacing with insurers and marketing policies as required.

Work Environment Hybrid (Agile) – We at Gallagher enjoy the benefits of working remotely while also collaborating and interacting with each other in the office. This position is based out of our office in Calgary.

How you'll make an impact

• Supporting a designated portfolio of Energy accounts, playing the lead role in business retention and continually building upon customer relationships.
• Review accounts at renewal, taking the necessary steps in placing coverage required by the client, re-marketing when required, adhering to binding authority set out by carriers.
• Respond to client inquiries quickly and efficiently, maintaining the quick turnaround time for any actions required on behalf of the client.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, driving the creation of quality leads, working with Account Executives in binding the client.
• Consistently acting to upgrade insurance market knowledge, keeping abreast of new products and policy changes.
• Work with Account Executives on cross-selling opportunities and accessing resources within Gallagher.

• Secondary School Diploma required, College or University Degree preferred.
• 1+ years of Commercial Insurance Brokering experience required.
• Experience within a specific insurance vertical (i.e. construction, manufacturing, professional lines etc.) strongly preferred.
• CAIB, CIP, CRM or other relevant certifications/designations highly valued.
• Active and in good standing Insurance Broker’s License.
• Knowledge of EPIC considered an asset.
