Job summary

CEWE, a private BC-based civil contractor, is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. You will support project delivery and contract administration on municipal and private civil construction projects across British Columbia, collaborating with Project Managers and Operations.

This in-office coordination role offers growth from coordination to field support as you gain experience, with emphasis on schedules, documentation, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from BCIT or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• 2 years related experience in project coordination.
• Understanding of construction terminology, scheduling and planning.
• Valid BC driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Bluebeam and HeavyBid is an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update project schedules and TMPs.
• Perform quantity take-offs using Bluebeam.
• Facilitate internal communication between teams and stakeholders.
• Report to Project Managers on progress and tasks.
• Issue and manage purchase orders.
• Maintain up-to-date project files.
• Assist with post-construction activities including letters and reports.
• Process daily field paperwork and maintain records.
• Plan and manage logistics for meetings and site visits.
