This position plays an important leadership role in managing the City's planning, building, and business licensing functions. Reporting to the Director of Planning & Community Services, the Manager of Planning & Building provides leadership to staff, supports annual work planning and budgeting, prepares and presents reports to Council, and provides recommendations on bylaws, policies, procedures, and development-related matters. The role is often involved in complex and sensitive decisions that may attract Council, community, and media attention.

Required Qualifications
Remuneration for this position ranges from $109,029 to $125,165 per year based on education and experience. The successful candidate will be eligible for the City's Health and Wellness Benefits, Employee and Family Assistance Program and City matching pension plan.
