Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a temporary full-time Christmas Kettle Campaign Coordinator in Lethbridge. You will promote, coordinate and oversee kettle locations, arrange daily pickup/delivery of kettles and ensure donation security, while staffing shifts and managing volunteers.

You will recruit and supervise volunteers, maintain records, schedule and report on the campaign, with travel to kettle sites as needed. Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior kettle experience or equivalent asset.
• Experience in office administration with MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office setting.
• Support for the mission of The Salvation Army with flexibility as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promote, coordinate and oversee kettle locations in Lethbridge.
• Coordinate schedule for kettle volunteers and coverage; respond to emergencies.
• Recruit, orient and manage kettle volunteers; maintain records.
• Ensure kettle sites have supplies and secure donations.
• Assist in counting kettle income and prepare weekly reports.
• Post-campaign report and close-out documentation.
