North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) seeks an Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing Worker for a twelve-month full-time contract in New Liskeard. You will provide a wide range of children’s services, including preventive and protective work with families and youth.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, developing protection plans, and preparing documentation to support disposition decisions.

Qualifications

• MSW or BSW preferred or college diploma in social services.
• Experience with children, youth and families is an asset.
• Ability to interpret and apply statutory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide a broad spectrum of children’s services including preventive and child protection.
• Complete risk assessments and develop protection plans.
• Prepare documentation to determine disposition decisions.
• Collaborate with families and cross-agency partners.

Connaissances

MSW or BSW preferred

Social services experience

Interpret and apply legislation

Excellent communication

Flexible hours

Willing to travel

Bilingual English/French

G2/G Class license

Own vehicle access

Formation

MSW or BSW preferred
