Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a dedicated Bus Driver in Chestermere, AB to transport children to and from our centres. This full-time role offers no evenings or weekends and includes excellent benefits, including a childcare discount.

You will perform pre/post-route safety checks, ensure student safety, and assist children on and off the bus as needed. Training is provided for the right candidate with a Class 4 license and S Endorsement preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience driving a school bus preferred (training provided for the right candidate).
• CPR/First Aid Certification required or preferred.
• Experience working with children is an asset.
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment.

Responsibilities

• As Bus Driver, transport children to and from our centres.
• Transport children to and from school in mornings and afternoons.
• Perform safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensure safety of all children.
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Bus Driver, you will transport children in our care to and from our centres.

• Transporting children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons.
• Obeying all traffic laws.
• Performing safety inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensuring safety of all children.
• Assisting students with getting on and off the bus if required.
• Other duties as assigned.
