Job summary

Spring Living is seeking a Corporate Director of Resident Services to lead culinary and housekeeping operations across its retirement communities. You will establish standards, drive performance, manage costs, and support acquisitions and transitions.

The role reports to the Vice President of Operations and requires strategic oversight with hands-on leadership. You will mentor Executive Directors, collaborate with regional leaders, and ensure high-quality dining, hospitality, and living

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in hospitality management, culinary management, business administration, gerontology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in hospitality, retirement living, long‑term care, healthcare, hotel, food service, environmental services, or a related service environment.
• Demonstrated multi-site leadership experience.
• Experience overseeing culinary, dining, housekeeping, environmental services, or hospitality operations.
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, labour management, and operational performance skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate standards for culinary and dining services across all Spring Living communities.
• Ensure a consistent resident dining experience while respecting local and resident preferences.
• Lead menu development, food quality, presentation, and dining room operations.
• Monitor food costs, labour costs, purchasing, waste, and inventory across the portfolio.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and leadership development in resident services.
• Partner with leaders to drive resident satisfaction and service excellence.
