CEMENT SUPERVISOR - GRANDE PRAIRIE, RED DEER, or WHITECOURT

The Cement Supervisor will report to the CementCoordinator and is responsible for the coordination of various cement and acidoperations in the field. Supervisors are responsible for the supervision andsafety of personnel and equipment at all times, whether at a customer’slocation or between locations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure thatTrican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is thepriority in all activities
• Ensure adherenceto Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican WellService Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations
• Investigateworkplace incidents and initiate the disciplinary process for infractionsby operations staff
• Supervise andoperate various large duty trucks over diverse outdoor terrain andconditions
• Perform pre-tripand post-trip inspections by accurate completion of corresponding driverlog forms while remaining in accordance with Trican inspection procedures
• Conduct pre-jobAcidizing and Cementing calculations involving blending and mixing,volumetric calculations and rates, as well as hydrostatic calculations
• Conductsupervision along with rig-up of treating iron, manifolds and recordingequipment
• Performsupervision and rig-out of all equipment for travel and conduct movementto following site
• Perform andsupervise maintenance operations to units and auxiliary equipment
• Assist with theevaluation and training process of operations personnel
• Perform three ofeach standard primary Cementing treatments or three of each standard Acidtreatments

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum two yearsexperience in a cement supervisory position
• Valid Class 1driver’s license is required
• Pressure pumpingexperience is preferred
• High schooldiploma is an asset
• Safe drivingskills; driver’s abstract will be requested
• Physicallydemanding, heavy lifting required
• Excellentcommunication skills, both written and verbal
