Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s licence is required.
• High school diploma is an asset.
• Knowledge of Fracturing Operations is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Physically fit – heavy lifting required.
• Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract may be requested.
• Problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety priority in all activities and adhere to policies and regulations.
• Operate Trican units and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Drive large duty trucks across diverse terrains; operate tilt deck.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete driver logs.
• Ensure loads and cargo are secured properly.
• Coordinate tasks according to priority.
• Complete required paperwork after job completion and forward to the relevant team.

FRACTURING EQUIPMENT TRANSPORT OPERATOR – GRANDE PRAIRIE (GPC)

Safe operation of equipment on customer location, during travel, and while in station.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that Trican’s core value, “Safe equipment and operations” is the priority in all activities
• Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican Well Service Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations
• Operate Trican units and equipment in a safe and professional manner
• Drive various large duty trucks over diverse outdoor terrain and conditions; drive and operate the tilt deck
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections by accurate completion of corresponding driver log forms while in accordance with Trican inspection procedures
• Ensure all loads and cargo are secured properly
• Perform maintenance to the unit and report any mechanical deficiencies for repairs
• Coordinate tasks according to priority
• Complete all applicable paperwork upon job completion and forwarding to applicable employees

Experience & Skills:

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s licence is required
• High school diploma is an asset
• Knowledge of Fracturing Operations is an asset
• Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
• Physically fit – heavy lifting required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong leadership and managerial skills

Working Conditions:

• 15 days on/6 days off or Flexible Schedule
• On call 24-hours during shift
• Must live near base of employment
• Pre-employment medical testing required
• Working in all weather conditions
