Job summary
Trican Well Service Ltd. in Grande Prairie is seeking a Cement Twin Operator to safely operate equipment during shifts. This role requires strong safety awareness and the ability to work under supervision.
You will perform rig-ups, inspections, and maintenance, and keep accurate documentation while living near the base. A Class 1 or 3 license, good communication, and physical fitness are essential.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s licence.
- High school diploma is an asset.
- Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested.
- Physically fit – heavy lifting required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Skilled in problem-solving techniques.
Responsibilities
- Operate cement twin equipment safely during shifts.
- Adhere to safety, environmental, and client policies.
- Drive truck-mounted pumping and bulk hauling equipment under supervision.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and log forms per procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date unit binders, permits, and maintenance records.
- Rig-up and rig-out treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment.
- Maintain equipment during travel and at subsequent sites.

The Cement Twin Operator is responsible for the safe operation of equipment during their shift.
- Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities
- Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican Well Service Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations
- Drive truck mounted pumping and bulk hauling equipment between locations safely and efficiently while under qualified supervision
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections by accurately completing corresponding driver log forms while remaining in accordance with Trican inspection procedures
- Keep unit binders up to date including all permits, government regulatory paperwork, iron inspections, and maintenance documentation
- Rig-up treating iron, manifolds and recording equipment
- Rig-out of all equipment for travel and conduct movement to following site
- Perform maintenance operations to pumping units and auxiliary equipment
