Job summary

QXO is hiring a driver to pre-inspect trucks, set up load parameters, and ensure safe loading and unloading at the site. You will lift and move heavy freight, communicate with dispatch, and stay alert to hazards while adhering to safety protocols.

Applicants must have a valid CDL (Class A or B), at least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.

Responsibilities

• Pre-inspect truck, load materials, and verify accuracy of load.
• Set up job parameters, inspect site to ensure a safe environment to load and unload.
• Occasionally assist with lifting, pushing, or moving product as needed.
• Touch freight – may need to lift, push, or move product weighing 75+ pounds.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of the product.
• Ensure branch management is aware of potential hazards on site.
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to PPE protocols.

What you'll do:
