Wolseley Canada is hiring a permanent and full-time DZ truck driver to support its GTA MDC location. You’ll transport materials, manage shipping docs, and deliver to various customer sites with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Class DZ license required.
• Valid Boom Truck Crane Operator Certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience.
• Minimum 2 years crane experience an asset.
• Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset.
• Clean driver’s abstract is required (no tickets/points/at-fault in 3 years).
• WHMIS/TDG certification would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Transport material to and from customer sites between branches and other locations.
• Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route.
• Load items into truck and adhere to delivery schedule.
• Consolidate items to maximize space using a pump truck.
• Secure material to prevent damage during transport.
• Deliver orders to customers' facilities, sites or warehouses using the best itinerary.
• Unload products according to destination rules.
• Obtain a signature of delivery acknowledgment.

Wolseley Canada is looking to hire a permanent and fulltime DZ truck driver to support its GTA MDC location.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for transporting material to and from customer sites between branches and other locations
• Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route
• Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule
• Consolidate items and skids to maximize space in the truck using a pump truck to load material
• Strap and/or secures material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport
• Deliver orders to customers' facilities, construction sites other branches or warehouses using the most effective itinerary or assigned itinerary
• Unload products according to the destination's applicable rules
• Responsible for obtaining a signature of acknowledgment of delivery

What You Will Bring

• Valid Class DZ license required
• Valid Boom Truck Crane Operator Certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of truck driving experience
• Minimum 2 years crane experience an asset
• Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset
• Clean driver's abstract is required )No traffic tickets, no points, and no "at-fault" accidents within the last 3 years)
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative
• Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
• Valid Vehicle Mounted Lift Truck Certification is an asset
• WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset
• Forklift certified or ability to be certified

Base salary: $54,080 + 4% Bonus
