Job summary

Birch Mountain Enterprises is seeking CAT-VAC Operators for seasonal work at our client site. TDG knowledge and wiggle wagon operating experience are required, with a minimum Class 5 license. Must be physically fit to work in all weather and able to complete daily documentation.

We offer a 14 on/7 off schedule, an employee assistance program, and an employee referral bonus program. Preference for locally based applicants and those with prior industrial experience.

Qualifications

• TDG knowledge and wiggle wagon experience are required.
• Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record.
• OSSA/BSO/CSO and CSTS certification required.

Job Summary:

Operating from our client’s site, this position involves the safe operation of CAT Vac's. Operators should be mechanically inclined and physically fit to work in all kinds of weather. Preference will be given to candidates who possess previous experience in the industrial sector and those with previous wiggle wagon experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• OperateCAT Vacsafely and efficiently.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks and work in allweather.
• Completion of daily documentation including but not limited to dailylogbooks, customer work orders, field level risk assessment, pre/post tripinspections.
• Follow instructions for tasks assigned by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Complete daily housekeeping of assigned truck to ensure maintenance of companyimage.
• Attend dailytoolboxand safety meetings as scheduled and adhere to corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and operate all BME tools and equipment to the required standards andprocedures.
• Ensure that all training is keptcurrent.
• Follow all TDG and WHMIS standards andregulations.
• Seek out continuous improvementopportunities.
• Provide customer-focused services in allactivities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’sabstract.
• Previous CAT Vac, Wiggle wagon experience. (CAT 740,745)
• Previous or relatedexperience operating at least three of these types of units:Water, Vacuum, Hydro, orComboVac units, considered an asset.
• Minedriveexperience.
• Eligible to work at Syncrude Site.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA (or BSO/CSO) and CSTS certification.
• Must successfully pass BME driver’s evaluation, D&A, and fit for duty pre-employmentscreening.
