Job summary

Drake International in Dartmouth, NS is seeking reliable Lumper Associates for on-call shifts. You will load and unload freight, assist with inventory movement, and support general warehouse operations.

This casual, on-call role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift heavy items, and a dependable, safety-minded attitude. You must provide your own high-visibility vest and CSA-approved boots; shifts are Monday to Friday daytime with weekly pay.

We are currently seeking reliable and physically fit Lumper Associates for on-call shifts in Dartmouth, NS. This role involves loading and unloading products and materials in a warehouse environment, assisting with inventory movement, and supporting general warehouse operations as needed. This is a casual, on-call position, so flexibility and availability are essential.

What you'll do

• Load and unload freight, products, and materials safely and efficiently.


• Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location.


• Consult order forms daily to pick the appropriate product for each order in a timely and accurate manner.


• Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.


• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.


• Perform other warehouse and general labour duties as required.

What you'll bring

• Previous experience in a warehouse, loading/unloading, general labour, or a similar role.


• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving heavy items throughout the shift.


• Availability to work on a casual, on-call basis when shifts become available.


• Your own high-visibility safety vest and CSA-approved safety boots (additional PPE may be required depending on the site).


• A dependable, punctual, and safety-focused attitude.
