Dr. F. W. Green Memorial Home in Cranbrook, BC, is seeking a Casual Staffing Services Scheduling Clerk to join our in-office team.

This role focuses on staffing operations, scheduling, and workforce coordination to ensure high-quality care delivery. Shifts vary 05:00–14:24, 08:30–16:30, 14:12–23:36, 15:36–23:36, 16:00–20:00 with rotating days off. Range 0–37.5 hours/week; casual entry with potential for permanent roles; employer-sponsored training and an Employee & Family Assistance Program are

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and three years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Typing test 35 wpm or greater, dated within the past 48 months and must be issued from a valid institution only. (non-supervised tests not accepted)

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes requests for vacancy coverage to ensure staff compliment baselines are met.
• Allocates and calls in relief staff to fill vacancies.
• Receives and processes on‑staff, payroll removal notices and change notices.
• Reviews and audits timekeeping records.
• Reviewing, calculating and editing on call and call back hours.
• Data entry.
• Reception and clerical duties.
