Job summary

The Frob Eatery, located inside the Frobisher Inn in Iqaluit, NU, is seeking enthusiastic servers for casual, flexible hours. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals and drinks, and ensure a positive dining experience in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Certifications in Food Safe and Responsible Beverage Service are required, with strong communication and teamwork skills essential. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid Food Safe certification required.
• Valid Responsible Beverage Service certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve meals and drinks in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and service areas.
• Process payments and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
