Job summary

The Victorian Community Health Centre in Kaslo, BC is seeking a Casual Patient Registration Receptionist to join our team. You will support a patient-centered environment with focused customer service and accurate registration duties, in a friendly, small-town setting.

Qualifications

• 5-minute typing test (50+ NWPM) from a recognized institution, completed within the past 48 months (non-supervised tests not accepted).
• Your Resume outlining one year recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week).

Responsibilities

• Booking outpatient appointments
• Pulling and assembling charts
• Reception duties
• Cashier functions and journal entry (general ledger accounting test to be done in-house)
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
