Job summary

Coast Mental Health in Maple Ridge, BC, seeks a Front Desk Attendant to monitor the Front Desk/Reception area under the Housing Manager. The role is casual with shifts offered as needed and no guaranteed schedule.

You will greet guests, enforce rules, manage keys and sign-in rosters, perform reception duties, and provide building information. The position requires Grade 12, building service or security training, and First Aid/Criminal Record clearance.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent plus Building Service or Security Guard training.
• First Aid Certificate and Ministry of Justice Criminal Record clearance upon hire.
• WHMIS Certification

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and tenants.
• Enforce community rules.
• Manage keys and sign-in roster.
• Monitor front desk and perform security duties.
• Patrol and secure doors/windows.
• Handle reception duties and visitor inquiries professionally.
• Provide building information and protocols.
• Ensure safe access and egress to the building.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
