Salary Range: $23.91 To $26.74 Hourly

Key Accountabilities

• Provides leadership, direction and mentoring to the security operation
• Mentoring, coaching, and training front line security team members
• Monitoring, documenting and preparing statements/reports on internal and external violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards and suspicious people or activities
• Enrolling guests in the self-exclusion program
• Conducting regular patrols of the entire property as directed
• Identifying risks and conditions that present safety concerns
• Providing or assisting with First Aid for team members and guests
• Responding to and resolving or escalating security concerns
• Escorting guests and team members or assigning escort duties as required
• Overseeing crowd control for special events
• Liaising and communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Developing and cultivating strong working relationships with all stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performing other duties as assigned or directed

Education and Qualifications

• Must hold active Security Officer position at Chances Maple Ridge
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Computer literacy in MS
• BST or GSO license
• Serving it Right Certification
• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain Gaming license
• Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
• Computer literacy in MS Office
